At Variety – the Children’s Charity Tasmania, we make sure children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability can access the care and opportunities they deserve.
Every child’s journey is different and so is the way we help.
From funding essential equipment to opening doors in education, sport, and the arts, we’re here to make sure every child can participate, belong and thrive. Through our grants and programs, we give children the freedom to move, learn and dream big, no matter their circumstance.
Individual Grants
We provide life-changing support to children living with disability and their families.
We support schools and community groups who want to create inclusive and supportive spaces for children who need it most. These grants can help fund projects, equipment, technology and resources.
We support young people, who are gifted in the areas of sports, the arts, or academics, by funding coaching, equipment and essential resources to help them pursue their goals and reach their potential.
We deliver inclusive programs, camps and school initiatives that build confidence, skills and belonging, while promoting disability awareness and inclusion in our community.
Our support may not be unique, but the breadth and depth of what we provide for children is truly unmatched.
We understand that no two kids' situations are the same. That’s why our charter is one of the most flexible in Tasmania. We want to make sure kids are supported in the most meaningful way.
