Be a hero
Fundraise for Variety
From life-changing equipment like wheelchairs and communication devices to therapy, education and joyful experiences, every dollar you raise with Variety Tasmania helps a child thrive.
Fundraising isn’t just about money — it’s about giving Tasmanian kids the freedom to learn, grow and feel included, while standing beside families when they need support most. Whether your effort is big or small, it creates real change — opening doors, building confidence and helping every child belong and live without limits.
Take on a personal challenge and raise funds for Variety Tasmania your way. Whether you set yourself a run or walk goal, rally your workmates or gym crew for a fitness challenge, join an existing event or create something completely your own, every kilometre, lap or burpee can help make a difference.
Set up your fundraising page, share it with friends and invite them to donate or sponsor you, all while getting fit, building team spirit and supporting Tasmanian children to access the opportunities they deserve.
Joining a Variety Tasmania event is a fun and rewarding way to connect with others while making a real difference for local children.
From iconic motoring adventures and community challenges to special events and gala evenings, every event brings people together with a shared purpose — helping Tasmanian kids access the support and opportunities they deserve. Wherever you get involved, you’ll be part of a passionate community creating real impact across our state.
Workplace giving is a simple and powerful way for employees and employers to support children and families across Tasmania.
Through small, regular pre-tax donations, your team can make a meaningful difference — one pay cycle at a time. By taking part, you’re not just donating; you’re helping create brighter futures for Tasmanian children while building a workplace culture grounded in care, connection and shared purpose.
Hair with Heart is Variety’s hair donation and fundraising program, helping provide custom wigs for children who have lost their hair due to medical conditions such as alopecia, trichotillomania and other disorders.
When you donate your hair, you’re giving more than just strands — you’re giving confidence, comfort and the chance for a child to feel like themselves again. It takes around 16 to 20 ponytails to create one medical-grade wig, and every donation helps turn a simple act into something truly life-changing.
Together, we can empower every child across Tasmania to dream, achieve and thrive.
As a corporate partner, your business can make a meaningful local impact through sponsorships, workplace giving, cause-related campaigns and event partnerships — while engaging your team and customers in something truly rewarding. Let’s work together to create brighter, barrier-free futures for Tasmanian children.
Your Will is a powerful way to care for future generations. After providing for your loved ones, you may choose to leave a gift to Variety Tasmania.
Every gift, big or small, helps children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability to access the care, freedom and opportunities they deserve. Your legacy will live on in every smile, every new step and every child who gets the chance to thrive.
However you choose to help, you’re doing something extraordinary — giving kids the care, freedom and opportunities they deserve. Together, we’re creating a world where every child can thrive and belong.
